We are pleased to announce that the ISER Travel Fellowship application process for Early Career Researchers will open soon.
Early Career Researchers have the possibility to apply for a Travel Fellowship during the abstract submission process. Please review the eligibility criteria carefully before applying!
We hope that ISER members will encourage Early Career Researchers to apply for a Travel Fellowship in support of the participation of early scientists in ISER’s Biennial Meeting in Valencia, Spain.
If you have any questions or need assistance during the abstract submission process, please contact the Program Content and Development Department at the ISER Meeting Secretariat: iser-abstracts@kit-group.org
PLEASE NOTE
in order to submit an abstract, you need to register first since the ISER Meeting will be held in person.
Session Submission
Thank you for your numerous contribution.
29. August 2025 – 25. February 2026
Your role as Session Organizers will be to develop the session by identifying and inviting the speakers, communicating with them and providing the details for the online program on the program management system. Session organizers usually also (co)moderate the session.
Each session will be held within a two-hour time frame and consist of five 24-minute slots (20 min talk + 4 min Q&A). It will be important to keep to the 24-minute synchronization so that attendees can move between rooms to allow participation in other parallel sessions.
Please note the following important ISER rules concerning the session planning and recruitment of speakers:
- Each session organizer is allowed to organize and moderate one session only. However, there are no limitations for co-moderating sessions.
- Each speaker is allowed to deliver one presentation only (poster or talk) as the presenting or first author. This is particularly important when planning session content and needs to be brought to the attention of invited speakers. We suggest that invited speakers are asked to acknowledge this when accepting the invitation to participate in a specific session.
- Although speakers are “invited” participants in the session, there is no support for travel, hotel, registration or any other meeting-related expenses. The participation of Session Organizers and speakers is strictly voluntary.
- Session Organizers are welcome to seek support from sponsors to defray the expenses of their session participants, but this activity must be coordinated with the ISER office.
